The B&W conversion doesn't work here.

The idea of taking a driver's seat is great...but the view is a somewhat cramped and restricted by the walls leading to the cabin. Technically the highlights are blown - the seats and floor and the shadows are blocked - the small closet on the left side. Perhaps moving closer to the driver's seat would offer a better perspective. Had I want to take a B&W picture in the first place, I would have metered on the closet and underexposed by 2 stops, underdeveloped the negative, post flash and burn in the highlights....

Hope this helps...just my 2cts

I like how the dark tones lead the eyes on, but beyond that no much connection to nightmare...just my 2 cents...

Thanks for all ur comments.

This photo was taken some times during my shooting alone at the nearest beach around. The interior of this old boat was quite scary. But somehow I noticed the attractive view and snapping it would be interesting, I thought. I didn’t want to spend much of my time. I jumped out of the boat soonest as I finished the shoot. In other words, I didn’t really focus of my photo outcome instead of snap and ‘cabut’. Arrived home, I was frustrated because it was overexposed! Nothing but high white light had came out from the windows.

But I still love the view.

At first I thought I wanted to work on the title of ‘memoirs of a fisherman’s poor abstinence..”. My idea changed when I play around with the color saturation. I noticed of those spooky feelings again.

I worked this on the background of another poor cloudy sunset photo, shot off the same day.

The whole idea of this digital artwork (I say) is in color and posting it in b&w will be another bonus of me getting more from your helpful comments!

thanks again!

The theme suits with the colored one, but not in B&W. I'd rather put 'abandoned' instead.. due portrayed by the worn out stool... just my opinion. Jangan mare.
Good try.
